  • Photocopies first and second conditionals: all except oral and listening exercices
Notes:
  • Students who didn't give me in class Reading 7 and Video 4 (Whitney Houston) must give me the answers by email before Monday (fclaramu@xtec.cat) because the deadline was February 29.
  • If you didn't give me the listening 4 because you couldn't open it, you can give me the answers in class next Monday.
  • If you have problems opening the listenings on the blog, install Google Chrome browser on your computer and access the blog with this browser. Wednesday 15 February

First term exam: grammar, listening, reading.

Notes:
Each part has a maximum of twenty points. The grammar (50 items) will take 50 minutes, the listening (2 audios and a video) will last approximately 25 minutes, and the reading (3 short texts) will take 40 minutes. These three parts of the exam account for 60 points; for the other 40 points (writing and speaking) you have already your mark.
The grammar part of the exam covers units 1-4 plus the Past Perfect in unit 9
To study for the exam use the charts, your own notes, the exercises we've done and the information at the end of the book

  • Check the answers to the video: watch the video with the answers
  • Revision photocopies: try to do as much as possible but don't do:
       - any exercise that says "Correct the mistakes"
       - the page about "Question Tags"

Grammar Charts:
Note: Not all grammar charts are here, only the ones about confusing topics or those who have some new information; for the rest of the topics study the grammar charts we have been using in class.
